Qualification :Candidates must possess Ph.D Degree in Zoology/ Life Science/ Botany/ Wildlife Science from a recognized University for the post No.1, Masters’Degree in Zoology/ Botany/ Life Science/ Wildlife Science/ Forestry/ Environ-mental Science/ Social Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University for the post No.2 & 3, Masters Degree in Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Botany/ Life Science/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University for the post No.4, Masters Degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University with two year post M.Sc. research/ teaching experience for the post No.5, Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Biological Science with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university for the post No.6.

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit for post No.1 is below 40 years, 28 years for the posts No.2,3& 4, 32 years for the post No.5& 6 as on 30-09-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Interview.

How to Apply :Interested candidates can attend for walk in interview along with filled in application form in the prescribed format, original and attested copies of all relevant testimonials held at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun on 04-10-2013 at 09:00 AM, Candidates should bring the duly filled-in applications with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications, research experience, extra curricular activities, date of birth etc.,along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations. All original documents should be produced at the time of registration. The application form can be downloaded from the link www.wii.gov.in.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs 25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community.

2. Click on the link “Online Recruitment Application (ORA) for Various Recruitment Posts”.
3. Select the appropriate Post and click on “Apply Online” .
4. Fill all the mandatory fields and submit error free application form.
5. After submission of ORA, candidates are required to take print out of it for future use.
